Qualifying round draws of UEFA Club Tournaments for 2008/09 season, took place in Nyon, Switzerland on 1st of July, 2008, where the rivals of three Georgian clubs have been announced.  

The rival of FC Dinamo Tbilisi in the First Qualifying Round of UEFA Champions League will be NSI Runavic, the club of Faroe Island. First Qualifying Round Matches will be held on 15-16 of July, 2008. FC Dinamo Tbilisi will be the host of the first Qualifying Round Match; second Qualifying Round Match will be played on 22-23rd of July, 2008.

The winner of the first Qualifying Round will oppose Panathinaikos FC. The first Match will take place on 29-30 of July, and the second on 5-6 of August, 2008.

FC Zestafoni, the winner of the Georgian Cup, and FC WIT Georgia, Vice-Champion of Georgia, will participate in the first Qualifying Round of UEFA Cup 2008/09. The first Matches of the first Qualifying Round will be held on 17th of July, 2008, and the second Matches will take place on 31st of July, 2008.

The rival of FC Zestafoni will be Hungarian Gyori ETO FC. FC WIT Georgia will oppose Slovakian Club - FC Spartak Trnava.
