Paul Kessany: " I want to win Georgian Cup and Championship"

Didier Ovono is the goalkeeper of “Dinamo”. Paul Kessany  plays in “Zestafoni”. Soon in “Dinamo” will be one more Gabonian – forward of the National team Georges Akiremy.
Kessany  was the only shining person  in “Zestafoni” in first match in Kazakhstan. After the  match we said thanks for good game and asked interviewing. Paul was the only person who cried after the game.

1. -We played very bad. I’m not pleased. We must prove in the next match, that today’s score was by chance.
   • Did you expect  much from your rival?
   •  It was good team, very good. But if our championship was begun, they wouldn’t beat us .
   • Do we have any chance?
   • It’s difficult, but not impossible. We must be active in Tbilisi and I’m sure , that will have a result.
   •  What do you want in the next season?
   • Georgian Cup and Championship. We have no other aim.
   • How do you feel yourself in Georgia?
   • Very well. Alain Giresse described your country positively.  Georgians met me very warmly. Now I say to Gabonians to come into Georgia to play. They do so. Didier Ovono is in “Dinamo”. Soon one more Gabonian Akiremy will come. I think it will be serious strength for “Dinamo”. He’ll help them at the Eurotournaments.
   •  What kind of footballer is Georges Akiremy?
   • He is serious forward. He and the forward of “Lance”  Daniel Cousin are serious strength for the national team. Some days ago we beated Madagascar and Akiremy scored one goal and gave one pass for goal.
   • What kind of relationship do you have with Alain Giresse?
   • Wonderful. He is professional for his afair.
   • Where is Giresse mostly in Gabon or in France?
   • Gabon Football Federation has contract with Giresse and he lives in Gabon. He attends National Championship, which is necessary. There are only 6 legioners in the National Team and they need attention.
   • Where do the footballers of Gabonian National Team play?
   • 4 footbalers are in France. Ovono and me are in Georgia. Forward Anry Anshoe is in “Larisa”(Greece).
   • What do you do on African Cup?
   • First match with Côte d'Ivoire we lost without chance. Then we won with Madagascar  and if we want to play on the next step we must win with Côte d'Ivoire.
   • Do many viewers attend games?
   • Gabon is very little country in Africa and  there comes a number of viewers on matches – 45000.
   • What kind of football  does Gabon play with Alain Giresse?
   • Giresse was wonderful forward and he explains everything simply. progress is clear in Gabonian football.
   • What do you like in “Zestafoni?”
   • There are professionals in this team.
   • Georgian Championship is not of high quality. Are you pleased playing here?
   • You can’t  say so. There are some good teams here. It’s not easy to play with them.
   • It’s difficult for Africans to live in Europe. What can you say about it?
   • Georgian people are as warm, lovely as Gabonians.
   • Who is your ideal in African Football?
   • I live very much Michael Esein’s, Didier Drogba’s and Samuel Eto’o’s playing. They are footballers of high class.
   • Who is the best in Gabon?
   • I think Cousin, who plays well in club as well as in National Team.
