The first wins after winter's pause .

On February, 18-th took place the first matches of quarterfinal of the Georgian Cup. Football club "Zestafoni" visited Borjomi and defeated the local team by score 2-1 .

On tribunes of Borjomi " Jemal Zeinklishvili" stadium were about 500 attendances and among them fans of football club "Zestafoni". At the beginning there was equal fight, but in the middle of first part the privilage of zestafonians was clear. In spite of this , the half time was going to end with draw. Though at that time the audience of stadium saw the first goal - Avaliani with beatiful far shot took the net of zestafonian goalkeeper Roin Kvaskhvadze.

In the second half the hosts seemed to be tired. At first Goga Phiphia, who just came on the pitch and then Brazilian Zhilvan Gomes Vieira scored two goals in the net of Beka Shekriladze. At the end of the game Zestafonians could change the score, but it stayed unchangable - 1-2.

The second matches of Quarterfinal will take place on March, 6-th.

On February, 23-rd took place the first matches of second stage of 18-th championship of Georgia. FC "Zestafoni" visited Tbilisi and defeated the FC "Lokomotiv" by score 4-1 .
