Lokomotivi Tbilisi power to cup win

Two goals in three second-half minutes gave FC Lokomotiv Tbilisi their third Georgian Cup with a 2-0 final victory over FC Zestaponi that clinched a UEFA Cup berth.
Quick-fire goals
Mikheil Bobokhidze capped off a brisk counterattack on 53 minutes, striking a powerful shot into the corner of the goal to break the deadlock. Within three minutes, the side who had spent much of the match on the back foot, doubled their advantage when Nukri Manchkava rifled a superb long-range effort into top corner.
Pivotal moment
The goals were a cruel blow to Zestafoni who had dominated much of the encounter at the National stadium but found Lokomotivi Tbilisi goalkeeper Zviadi Sturua in superlative form. Sturua was finally beaten five minutes after the interval, when Zaza Zirakishvili headed in a free-kick, but his celebrations were cut short by the assistant referee's flag.
Third triumph
Six minutes later, Zestafoni were two down and coach Teimuraz Makharadze threw caution to the wind and pushed his players forward. But it was to no avail, and it was the capital club that came closest to scoring when Levan Sanikidze hit the post late on, before his team settled for a 2-0 win and their third cup triumph in six years.
